Original Press photograph of the England U23 team that played Chelsea in a warm up match on January 18th, 1954. This was in preparation fro their match with Italy in Bologna a few days later. Players include Dodgin, Leary, Blunstone, Flowers and Duncan Edwards (back row, second from right). The Italy match was Edwards' debut for the England U23 team.

20 x 25cm. Press caption stuck to reverse. Some light stains to top edge but generally in very good condition.
