Official scorecard for the match played at Trent Bridge on June 11-16, 1953. The match was drawn after Alec Bedser had put England in a strong position, taking 7 wickets in each innings. During the match he also took his 190th Test wicket, thus overtaking the record of Sydney Barnes.
Fully printed. Signed very nicely by Bedser in ink and dedicated to John Arlott ("To John"). Comes with a letter confirming that the scorecard came from the collection of John Arlott and was purchased directly from Ted Brown (who purchased Arlott's collection when he moved to Alderney in 1981). Very good condition.
