Original Press rugby photograph. Action shot from the game played at Twickenham on 26th February 1949. England Captain Ian Preece turns away as the Referee blows up for his sucessful drop goal. Already up by a try and a conversion, England ran out comfortable winners - England 8 - 3 France.
