Original sepia photograph of the Europeans (India) v Hindus match at Bombay, Nov 14th-16th 1921. J.H. Parsons is scoring the first run of the match, with C.B. Fry at the other end. The Europeans won by an innings and 108 runs, thanks to centuries from Wilfred Rhodes and Parsons, backed by fine bowling from George Hirst and Rhodes. The Hindu team included The Maharajah of Patiala, CK Nayudu and DB Deodhar.

11 x 15cm. Very lightly creased in places. Caption written in ink to reverse. A rare item.
