Official programme for a cricket match played at Southampton Stadium on July 5th, 1932. The main event was a cricket match between a team of famous jockeys and the Trojans Rugby Club - the jockeys team was captained by Brownie Carslake and included Steve Donoghue, Pat Donoghue, Gordon Richards, Fred Lane, Harry Wragg, Sam Wragg, Arthur Wragg, Fred Herbert, Freddie Fox and E.Forsyth. Steve Donoghue's other son, Steve Junior, played for the Trojans. The match was only 30 minutes per side - the scores are not known. Other events included donkey derbies, pony derbies and greyhound racing, all featuring the well-known jockeys. The proceeds of the day were split between the Hampshire County Cricket Club and the Trojans Rugby Football Club.

8pp. Lightly rubbed and creased with central folds. Split to spine. Results of races written in pencil. Good condition. Very rare.
