Cricket autobiography of the former Oxford University, Surrey, and England cricketer. Errol Reginald Thorold Holmes (1905-60) was a dashing, right-handed batsmen who took over the captaincy of Surrey from Douglas Jardine in 1934 and made 1,000 plus runs in each of the next four seasons.

8vo. viii + 192pp. Frontispiece, 8 page of photographs. Dust-wrapper, rubbed. Good condition. Signed nicely by Holmes to title-page (not dedicated).
