Original sepia photograph of Tunney and George Bernard Shaw attending a Polo match, probably taken in 1929. The two had met the previous year, and the friendship lasted until Shaw's death in 1950. This unusual friendship is the subject of a new book by Tunney's son, Jay Tunney, titled The Prizefighter and The Playwright.
