Alongside the monthly Croquet Association Gazette, the Association published a yearly handbook from the early 1900's. More a reference guide than the Gazette the contents vary from year to year but generally feature the laws of croquet with updates and revisions, the committee members of the association, medal results for the prior year and the membership roll with handicaps.

All 1st editions. 8vo, Bound in quarter cloth with titled paper covered boards. Run comprises 1904-1915 with 1906 being the red cloth backed 'Official Handicap Book'. From 1919 the format changed to a paperback with card wraps. This run complete from 1919 to 1964, lacking only the war years (1940-1946: presumably not produced) and 1953. From 1966 the book is issued every two years as the abridged year book until 1972 when it is renamed the Directory of the Croquet Association, the contents remaining largely unchanged. These paperback volumes gathered in groups of 6 or so and held together with treasury tags. Volumes are largely in very good condition. Internally bright and clean with very occasional notes and marginalia. Expected shelfwear to the boards and wraps, light rubbing and occasional wear and bumping to the cloth oth the hardbound volumes, paper bound volumes intact with occasional spine damaged.
