Cricket autobiography of Dickie Dodds (1919-2001), who was a dashing opening batsman for Essex between 1956 and 1959. A deeply religious man, he believed the best way to glorify God was by playing bright cricket. All the proceeds from his 1957 benefit he handed to the Moral Re-Armament movement.

8vo. 120pp. 8 pages of photographs. Dust-wrapper, lightly rubbed. Signed by Dodds to title-page, with a dedication to the well-known sports journalist Sue Mott. A very good copy.
