An original fixture card for the Huddersfield Athletic Club football team (later rugby league) for the season 1877-78. The club was in the process of merging with St. John's Cricket Club and would move to their new Fartown ground at the beginning of the next season. Opponents included Manchester Rangers, Kirkstall, Bradford, Wakefield, Leeds, Dewsbury, Mirfield and Hull.

Single folded card. Some results recorded neatly in ink. Surface loss to back panel (an advertisement for the local gymnasium). Some marks and light creases, but still in very good condition. A rare find.
