Indian cricket tour to Australia 1947/48. Official menu for a ‘Christmas Cabaret in honour of the Visiting Indian Tourists’ held at the California Ballroom, Bathurst, 20th December 1947. The dinner was held during the two day tour match, Western New South Wales v Indians, played at Bathurst, which the Indians won by 104 runs. This tour was the first by independent India and also the first against any opposition other than England.

The four page menu with decorative floral front cover and scalloped edges, with printed list of the full Indian touring party and menu to centre pages. Nicely signed in ink to the front cover by Don Bradman and one other, and to the rear autograph page by Ross Stanford (South Australia & Australian Services) and one other.

Single folded card. Minor staining to rear cover, otherwise in very good condition.
