Twenty-eighth year of issue, covering the 1898 season, with a full report on Stoddart's team in Australia in 1897/98 and Warner's tour of America in 1898. This annual ran to 29 volumes, 1872-1900. It was the last of the three Lillywhite publications, following the Guide and the Companion. From 1885 onwards it incorporates John Lillywhite's Cricketer's Companion. 

Paperback. Small 8vo. [xiv] + 5-284pp + xxxii + [2]. Original orange printed cloth covers, rubbed. One page loose but present. Plate of the Gloucestershire XI of 1898. A good copy.  [Padwick, 1087]
