Original Press photograph of Scherens and Richter riding during the 1935 UCI World Championship sprint final in Brussels. The Belgian Scherens won, which was part of a six year winning streak. Albert Richter, who openly opposed Hitler, was murdered by the Gestapo after being dragged from a train in 1940.
