Official Press rugby photograph of England legend Pullin. He Captained England and toured with the Lions to South Africa in 1968 and New Zealand in 1971. He was also in the Barbarians side that defeated the All Blacks in 1973 and was part of "that try".

Pullin was also the England captain who took England to Ireland after both the Welsh and Scots had refused because of the Troubles. Of the 18-9 defeat suffered at the hands of the Irish, he said: "We're not much good but at least we turned up."

10.2 x 15.5 cm. Original Press stamp and typewritten annotations to reverse. In very good condition.
