Menu card for the "Umpire Night" and annual dinner and dance, held on February 13th, 1959. The guest of honour was Alec Skelding, the Leicestershire fast bowler of the inter-War years, who became a first-class umpire in 1931. He was well-known and loved for his eccentricities on the pitch, and retired at the age of 72 in 1958. Also includes season statistics for the club, and fixtures for the upcoming season.

21 x 14cm. Stapled booklet. Signed by Skelding to his biographical page. A letter from his fellow umpire Bill Bratby, who was also a guest at the evening, is slipped in, along with a Press cutting relating all the evenings events. Very good condition.
