Original postcard of Leonard Stileman-Gibbard, taken in later years, signed and dated by the subject in 1929. Stileman-Gibbard played cricket for Bedfordshire but is most significant for playing only one first-class match, and that against the Australians in 1886. Playing for the South of England at Hastings in September Stileman-Gibbard, batting at number 9, made 46 in the first innings and 9 in the second, falling both times to George Giffen. In fact these were Giffen's only two wickets in the match.

Postally unused. Very good condition.
