Cricket autobiography of "Plum" Warner, stylish opening bat for Rugby, Oxford University, Middlesex, MCC and England, whom he captained in 10 Test matches. He led Middlesex from 1908 to 1920, leading them to the Championship during his last season. In 1950-51 he was President of MCC.

First Edition. 8vo. 240pp. Portrait frontispiece, 26 pages of photographs. Dust-wrapper, missing a few small pieces, particularly to head of spine and bottom corners of front. Presentation copy from Warner to Cecil Burton (Capt. Yorks, 1919-21), who would have been Warner's opposing captain during the 1920 season. "Cecil from Plum. In happy memories", written to front endpaper. Also signed and dated by Warner to title-page. A good copy.
