Original drawsheet/programme for the Eastern Championship Doubles and Fourteenth Annual Lawn Tennis Tournament, held at Longwood Cricket Club, Boston, from July 25 - August 3rd, 1904. The scores and results for the doubles are fully printed, and for the singles all apart from the last two rounds are printed. The later scores are completed neatly in ink, with Holcombe Ward defeating Beals Wright in the final after first coming through an epic battle against William Clothier. Ward then had to play William Larned, the holder of the Challenge Cup from 1903, but lost in 4 sets - leaving Larned as the Champion. Ward teamed up with Wright in the doubles and won relatively comfortably. The tournament included many of the greatest American tennis players of the time and Longwood Cricket Club was famous for hosting the first Davis Cup.
