Centre spread from a menu card for a dinner held in honour of the British Rugby Union team that toured Australia in 1904. The covers are missing but it was most likely held on June 29th, 1904, after the match against the Metropolitan Union, which the Lions won 19-6. On the last page is a photograph of the Metropolitan Union Committee which is signed by 12 members, all eminent figures in the Sydney community at the time. Of particular note is James McMahon who played for New South Wales, including against the Lions in 1888, and was the manager of the Wallabies team in 1908-09.

Tip of one corner is cut away neatly. Good condition.
