NATIONAL SPORTING CLUB 1936 BOXING PROGRAMME (EMPRESS STADIUM, EARL'S COURT) - INCLUDING DALY V RODERICK AND DAY V LOWBRIDGE

Official boxing programme for the bouts held at the Empress Stadium, Earl's Court, on October 26th, 1936. The bouts included George Daly v Ernie Roderick and Alby Day v Fred Lowbridge.

This programme belonged to the prominent Communist journalist George Sinfield when he was Sports Editor of the Daily Worker, and includes some of his neat notes within. The staples have rusted and are now removed. Good condition.
