Original Press photograph of an incident in the match at Edgbaston on June 2nd 1949. A.J. Watkins (Glamorgan) dives full length but fails to hold on to a catch given by A. Wharton (Lancs.) off the bowling of J. Young (Middlesex). Godfrey Evans (Kent) looks on, as does FG Mann (Middlesex) and the umpire Harold Elliott.

19 x 25cm. Press caption stuck to reverse. Single diagonal crease and a couple of very small closed tears to edges. Good condition. Signed very nicely by all six players/particpants to the front in ink. It is very unusual to find images signed by all the participants.
