Original carte de visite photograph of L.E. Wilkins, who was described by the Middlesex County Times as "The Marvellous Floating Man (nature's novelty)". Wilkins is seen standing in his swimsuit. The photograph is probably from the late 19th century. The Middlesex County Times covered the Ealing and Northolt areas of north-west London.
