Original Press photograph of Gonzales playing in the first round of the 1969 Wimbledon Championships against Charlie Pasarell. The match was famous for being the longest tennis match ever played (and was not beaten until 2010) with the 41 year old prevailing 11-9 ion the fifth set. Gonzales finally lost to Arthur Ashe in the fourth round.
