A collection of 13 postcards and 3 ephemeral pieces, all relating to the late Victorian/Edwardian craze of pedestrianism and running races. The three ephemeral pieces are a small greetings card with runners to the front, a Huntley & Palmers biscuit trade card and a late Victorian cot-out figure of a man setting a paper chase.

One card is modern - the one featuring Deerfoot, and most are postally used, many also with some writing to the front. A very nice little collection in generally good condition.
