Original black and white football photograph of a Preston North End XI by Albert Wilkes & Son of West Bromwich. The photograph includes Bill Shankly and is thought to date from the late 1930s, possibly before one of the two FA Cup Finals (1937 & 1938) in which he played for Preston.

Overall 54.5 x 40cm. Black and white photograph laid down to original photographer's mount. Mount soiled and sunned with edges chipped and scuffed. Top right corner of mount missing, lower left badly creased. Photograph has a few minor surface indentations but otherwise in very good condition.
