Original Press photograph of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh giving the Opening Address at the 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston, Jamaica. This was the first time that the Games had been held outside the so-called "White Dominions." After 1966 the "British Empire" title was dropped and they became the Commonwealth Games.

20.5 x 25.5cm. Original Press stamp and paper slip with typewritten annotation to reverse. Edges starting to chip, very good.
