Panmure Golf Club was established in 1845 at Monifieth, near Barry, Forfarshire. It is said that that Allan Robertson and Alexander Pirie came from St Andrews to examine and lay out the links over nine holes, thus the Monifieth Links were born. It was later extended to 18 holes to form the Medal course in 1880. Henderson was the club's secretary at the time of this book.

Small 8vo. 52pp. Photographic frontis (tissue-guard). Original navy blue boards, title in white lettering to the front. A fine copy of this very scarce history of one of the most ancient clubs in Scotland.  [D&M, 20620]
