A description of the life of the Rev. John Kerr (1852-1920), minister of Dirleton Church in East Lothian, and the publication of his best-known work, 'Golf-Book of East Lothian'. Printed by hand by the author at the Partick Press, this very attractive work is one of 200 copies bound with hessian on boards, a further 90 were bound in quarter leather. Both editions being numbered separately. In a pocket at the back is a supplementary booklet listing the known owners of the large paper edition of the 'Golf-Book'.

8vo. 40pp. 10pp booklet, marbled wrappers, in rear pastedown pocket describing the provenance of the 'Golf-Book'. Photograph of Kerr, pasted-in photograph of church, facsimile of title-page,folding facsimiles of letter and page of exhibition catalogue, facsimile of book sale catalogue. Marbled boards, bound by the Fine Bindery, Wellingborough, printed on Zerkall mould-made paper. Very good condition. No. 7 in a Limited Edition of 200, signed by the author-printer.
