Five album pages containing over 70 autographs of Rugby players from the pre-First World War period. Includes 25 Cheshire players, 10 Yorkshire players and 18 from Lancashire. Many of the players died in action, including the England Internationals Percy Kendall and Jack King, but also Frank Handford, Leonard Haigh and Frankie Hulme. On the last page is the autograph of the great Australian swimmer Frank Beaurepaire.

Each page is 9.5 x 15cm. Lovely calligraphic title page and list of county teams. A very nice collection of some rare Rugby autographs.
