Official souvenir programme from the 1949 Ryder Cup played at Ganton, Scarborough 16th - 17th Sept. Ben Hogan's team won the match 7-5.

Paperback. 25.4 x 21cm. 64pp. Illustrated paper wrappers, lightly rubbed. The staples are rusty and a few of the centre pages are now loose (but all present). Part of the page next to the photograph of the King has been cut away neatly. A good copy. Signed in ink throughout the programme by Lord Wardington, Robert A Hudson (Hon. Sec. USA Team), Ed Dudley (Chairman of Ryder Cup) and by 18 players - Johnny Palmer, Skip Alexander, Clayton Heafner, Lloyd Mangrum, Jimmy Demaret, Chick Harbert, Sam Snead, Bob Hamilton, Charles Whitcombe, Sam King, Dai Rees, Fred Daly, Laurie Ayton, Arthur Lees, Dick Burton, Alf Padgham, Jimmy Adams and Max Faulkner.
