Original postcard of action in the Calcutta Cup match of 1904, played at Inverleith on March 19th 1904. Scotland won the match 6-3 to win the Cup and the Home Nations Championship. The image captures the moment that the Scottish wing, possibly W.T. Forrest, is about to tackle the English wing. A policeman is in the foreground. The original owner has put a small ink cross below the Scottish winger (and the name Forrest seems to be written to the reverse - in pencil).

Postally unused but corners are rounded. Still in good condition.
