History Heroes' game of Sports Heroes is a pack of cards, containing individual cards of History Heroes’ forty greatest Sports Heroes, such as the first century BCE Athenian, Pheidippides, said to be the first person to run the marathon, Captain Webb, WG Grace, de Coubertin, Suzanne Lenglen, Jesse Owens,  Sonia Henie, Don Bradman, Juan Fangio, Tanni Grey-Thompson and many more from a range of sports. Each illustrated card shows the sportsperson's dates, their flag of birthplace and seven gripping facts about them.

The aim of the game is simple: win the game by winning the cards and win the cards by knowing the facts. Six facts range in difficulty from green, easiest, to red, most difficult. If you choose, however, you can use the seventh, the Joker fact, to overrule them all!
