A history of the oldest cross-country running club in the world, based on Wimbledon Common. The bulk of the book, written by James Ryan, covers the years 1868-1945, with Ian Fraser bringing the story up-to-date with a chapter on "The Present Generation" from 1946-1968.

8vo. 198pp. Dustwrapper, very good. A typed letter signed by Ian Fraser is slipped in - the book was sent as a review copy to The Daily Express and the letter includes additional information about the club's centenary. A rare book.
