Archie Jackson (1909-33) was a graceful batsman who many believed would have rivalled Bradman as the greatest batsman of all time. He died tragically young (23) of tuberculosis on the day that England regained the Ashes in the Bodyline series.
First Edition. 8vo. 144pp. 24 b/w plates. Light foxing to edges of page block. Navy blue leather binding, burgundy title label embossed to front with gilt lettering. Very good condition. From a Limited Edition of 1000 copies signed by the author. The autograph of Archie Jackson is laid down to title-page.
