Originally issued in 18 weekly parts, this handsome volume provides a magnificent pictorial record of the major cricketers of the day, accompanied by biographical text for each.

Folio. [iv] + 256pp. Hundreds of b/w photographs of cricketers both as single plates and in the text. Light foxing to fly-leaf with original owner's name also there. The boards and gilt are in excellent condition - perhaps the best that we have seen. A lovely copy. A very heavy item that may require extra postage costs (particularly abroad).
