An account of the occurrences in Canterbury during successive Cricket Weeks from 1842 to 1891.

First Edition, second issue - this having 3 additional pages with the scores from the 1891 matches (pp152-154). The sheets from the previous issue have been used, so page 152 is stuck on top of a page of adverts. The other difference from the first issue is the addition of a page of head and shoulders portraits of eleven cricketers inserted after the title-page. 8vo. viii + 154pp + [10] adverts. Original wrappers, lacking paper spine. The front cover has been supplied from another copy of the book and has been taped to the spine and back cover. Good condition.
