THE HISTORY OF EVERTON, INCLUDING FAMILIAR DISSERTATIONS ON THE PEOPLE ETC.

Not a history of Everton Football Club, which was formed over 40 years after the book's publication, but an important and detailed chronology of the then-prosperous district of Liverpool from where they hailed and a must for any connoisseur of the Toffees, including engravings and a fold-out map.

8vo. 480pp. Marbled boards with morocco spine and corners. Boards rubbed to edges. Minor splits between boards and spine. Occasional foxing to pages but largely clean and bright. A good copy. Scarce.
