A humorous Victorian parody on fox-hunting based around the exploits of the titular huntsman, with excellent full-page colour plates and additional vignette illustrations throughout.

Large oblong 4to. 20pp. Original illustrated boards with cloth spine. Covers grubbed and rubbed to edges, otherwise a good copy. First edition. From the collection of the horseracing writer Richard Onslow with the bookplate of the 5th Earl of Onslow pasted to inside cover. With a gift inscription, dated 1890, to fly-leaf - addessed to "Cranley". The 5th Earl was styled Viscount Cranley until 1911.
