Original printed poem by A.C. (Albert Craig, the Surrey Poet) praising the cricketing feats of the great man - "His heartiest energies he throws into each bloodless fray". Formed of five stanzas of six lines each. Although titled "41st Birthday" it was actually Grace's 40th birthday - he was born on July 18th, 1848.

21 x 12.5cm. Single sheet. A couple of small pinholes to top edge and a few short closed tears to edges. Good condition. Very rare.
