A collection of contemporary Press cuttings relating to Tooting and Mitcham's famous FA Cup run in 1958-59. Having beaten Bromley, Redhill, Sutton United and Horsham in the quaifying rounds they then saw off league sides Bournemouth & Boscombe and Northampton Town before taking on top flight Nottingham Forest. They were unlucky not to win at home, drawing 2-2, before Forest won the replay 3-0. Forest, of course, went on to win the trophy.

Most of the cuttings relate to the Forest games but there are ones relating to the earlier games too. 35 separate cuttings, many quite large. All in very good condition.
