Athletics instructional book by Harold Abrahams and his older brother Adolphe, who is regarded as the founder of British sports science.

First edition. 8vo. 189pp. Original blue cloth boards, lightly rubbed and spine a little faded. Harold Abrahams' personal business card is laid down neatly to front pastedown. To the same page is the ownership signature of Bevil Rudd, who won three medals for South Africa, including gold in the 400m, at the 1920 Olympic Games. A very rare book with excellent provenance.
