Real photographic postcard of Vera Cox, the great England hockey player, coach, umpire and administrator. Cox played hockey for England from 1908-12, captaining the team in 1912. She continued as a hockey umpire until the 1930s and was also involved in the establishment of the England Women's Cricket Association.

Postally unused. Very good condition. Signed nicely by Cox in ink across the front.
