Handwritten letter from Watcyn Thomas to J.G.B. "Bryn" Thomas, dated September 14th 1965. In the letter Thomas recounts at great length (four and a half sides of writing) the Wales v Scotland match of 1931 when he famousy played for 70 minutes with a broken collarbone, and scored a try! He later captained Wales before falling out with the selectors in 1933. Bryn Thomas was a well-known rugby journalist and author.

Three sheets of lined paper (5 sides), nicely signed by Thomas at the end. Very good condition.
