A collection of 18 original photographs of Wembley Lions speedway riders from the late 1940s. All have their names handwritten to bottom edge and a single pinhole to top edge. Most are wearing their Wembley Lions kit. Riders are Cosby, Abernethy, Gates, Price, Wells, Craighead, Kemp, Williams, Wilks, Kitchen, Waterman, Brown, Lamoreaux, Saunders, Gilbert, Bottoms, Lawson (in Hammers kit) and Jackson (manager).

Sizes vary, but mostly 14 x 8cm (or similar). Good condition.
