An account of illegal football matches played by a number of Scottish footballers while on holiday in Spain between 1959 and 1961. These included the author and some team mates from Third Lanark, Billy McNeill and Mick Jackson of Celtic and Jim McFadzean of St Mirren. Dave Hilley went on to play for Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.
