Signed to the title-page by Roy Webber and to the fly-leaf by 14 Lancashire players of the mid-1950s - including Edrich, Greenhough, Wharton, Wilson, Hilton, Ikin, Statham, Grieves, Bond, Pullar, Dyson, Roberts and Jordan (and one unidentified). Signed to their entries and to some photographs by a further 204 players, including many Australians, South Africans, Indians and all the big English stars of the day, as well as many lesser lights. Examples include Benaud, Fingleton, Harvey, Hassett, Compton, Cowdrey, Hutton, Arlott, Swanton, McCool, May, Marshall, Laker, Gaekwad, Subba Row, Surrridge, Yardley etc. Bernard Hedges has even managed to correct his date of birth in the book.
