WINCHESTER COLLEGE FOOTBALL MATCH c.1900

A pair of original sepia photographs of a football match played at Winchester College, published by H.W. Salmon of Winchester. The exact date is unknown.

Both (including mounts) are 18 x 23cm. Laid down to original mounts, which are heavily foxed. The images themselves are a little rubbed but generally very clean and clear. Heavy crease to one corner of mount, not affecting image. Rare, early images of football.
