Cricket postcards. Black and white real photographs by TIC of the two teams who contested the match between Mr. W.S. Edward's XI and a Wessex XI,  played at Bridport on the 12th of September 1923. Both teams contained several 1st Class cricketers, most notably Hobbs, Durston, Freeman and Hardinge. Also on Mr. Edward's XI was the 58 year old ex-Yorkshire opening batsman John Tunnicliffe. Also included Shepherd, Abel, Peach (all Surrey), Murrell (Middx), Collins (Kent), Brown (Hants), Bridges, Robson (both Somerset) and Fowler (Middx).

Overall 16.3 x 20.1cm Two real photographic postcards, postally unused, laid down to album page with handwriten titles and legend, one now detached. Album page a little tanned, postcards with residue of mount to reverse, but otherwise very good. Very unusual.
