ARGYLE ATHLETIC SPORTS (HOME PARK, PLYMOUTH) 1906 PROGRAMME OF EVENTS

Programme of events and entry form for the Argyle Athletic Sports meeting held at Home Park, Plymouth, on June 4th, 1906. Included cycle and foot races. The entry form on the reverse is completed in pencil by E.G. "Ted" Butcher, a noted local athlete who also played rugby for Devon and the Barbarians. The Athletic club had a lease on Home Park from 1901 but after 1903 it was shared with Plymouth Argyle football club, who still use the stadium today.

21 x 27cm. Very good condition.
