Tennis autobiography. Hull Jacobs (1908-97) and Wills Moody dominated American women's tennis in the 1930's. In all, Hull Jacobs won 10 Grand Slam titles including five singles Championships. In 1933, she became the first woman to break with tradition by wearing man-tailored shorts at Wimbledon.

First edition. 8vo. 277pp. Dust-wrapper, heavily rubbed with short tears to edges and larger piece missing to top of front cover. Internally very good.
